Meet the Team

G & K Lawson Constructions has a team of qualified, experienced and loyal staff members in roles including administration and management, along with a variety of trades.

Greg Lawson | Managing Director

Greg Lawson left school at the age of 16 ½ to take up a carpentry apprenticeship with his father Don Lawson (Don Lawson Constructions).  Although based in Toowoomba, a large portion of Greg’s apprenticeship was spent in Western Queensland erecting sheds and silos for M & S Steel Buildings.

Greg founded G & K Lawson Constructions in 2002 and under his careful direction, the company has grown into a well-known commercial and industrial building firm.

Greg’s philanthropic nature has led him to be a regular sponsor of Toowoomba’s West Wanderers Football Club, Western Districts Cricket Association and the RACQ LifeFlight Foundation.

Construction is Greg’s passion and he can always be found on the job site.

Shaun Ryan | Project Manager

Shaun joined our team in the role of Project Manager in 2015. His diverse knowledge and skills in the construction industry and ability to engage with key stakeholders has continued our success with client relationships on all projects he oversees.

Beginning his career as a cadet draftsman, obtaining an Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering, he worked within engineering, agriculture and residential construction. Shaun owned and operated a landscaping and horticulture business for 20 years in and around the Brisbane region.

Shaun gained experience in drafting and project management with the Ahrens Group designing commercial, agricultural and industrial buildings. He also spent time with CSG, developing infrastructure and gaining experience in providing design solutions to satisfy customer needs.

G & K Lawson Constructions has welcomed Shaun on board and enjoy the diverse knowledge, skills and enthusiasm he brings to the company.

Kerri Lawson | Financial Advisor

Greg and Kerri met in their early twenties and have been married for 20+ years.

From 2003 – 2007, Kerri undertook the role of providing administrative and financial support to Greg’s newly formed business. In 2007, Kerri decided to focus solely on the financial aspect of the company and passed the role of general administration to Kate Freeman.

As a family business, G & K Lawson Constructions has been built into the established construction firm it is today through the support and dedication of Kerri and many other family members.
