QFES Station – Pomona QLD

Construction of the replacement Auxiliary Fire Station in Pomona was completed in April 2015 with design aspects completed by Leroy Palmer Consulting Engineers and Sims White Architects.

The intent of the external finishes and design is to embrace the heritage character of the town and adjacent local heritage building.

The new Station hosts two-bay drive through Engine Shed, training room and office, outdoor training platform and RCR training pad (Road Crash Rescue), a highly needed upgrade on the previous station to continue to serve the community of Pomona and surrounds.
